I get more and more nervous about the book the more hints we get. Book cover Idk about the book cover. I wasn't expecting a blue snake on the cover. I don't have a strong opinion either way. Cora did mention that this book could cause a stir again(I can't remember exact wording). I really hope that isn't the storyline that she gets raped and pregnant and has to get an abortion. It's bad enough if she gets raped. Maybe she will have a miscarriage idk

Sin and Redemption is Max(Growl and Cara's son) and Sara's(Lily and Romero's son) book. I was surprised by this couple bc I didn't think of them being paired together. Growl/Cara and Lily/Romero are two of my favorite couples of Cora's, so it's nice that their kids are paired together. I really hope all 4 parent povs will be in the book.
I hope this book isn't disappointing bc I have disappointed in the next gen books. I really did not like the direction Nevio's book took. Hopefully, it isn't as bad as I thought his book was.
I hope there isn't any cheating in this book like Sara was raped and is cool with Max banging ow(I hated that in Nino/Kiara's book).
I think this might end up being a he falls first story. It would be nice if maybe Max secretly liked Sara for a while but she was betrothed to om.
It will be nice to actually get to see Lily in this next gen series bc we didn't really see her in Marci or Amos' books. I hope Romero's side of the family is shown in Sara's book bc they weren't in Romero's book. I hope Talia is mentioned (Cara's sister).
I'm nervous about the book based on little hints and stuff mentioned about Max/Sara in By Fate I Conquer and By Frenzy I Ruin. Apparently, some bad thing happened to Sara. It seems like it involved the Bratva. I have been worrying that Sara could have been gang raped. We don't know what happened just that it's been hush hush. It's plaguing me ever since BFIC. In BFIR, Rory mention that Sara seems to have lost weight and she shys away from Max.
It mentioned in BFIR that Sara was engaged before and ended up marrying Maddox instead. I thought maybe she got attacked and Max married her to save her honor. It seemed like Max felt guilty about whatever happened. Max and Romero don't seem to get along. I wprried that maybe Max was responsible in some way for what happened to Sara. Based on the synopsis it seems like Max was forced to hurt her?
I wondered about the ex fiance, if it was arranged or if he was her boyfriend(like Marci/Giovanni)Reading the synopsis, it seems like thr ex fiance was an arranged situation and she was accepting. We can't always go by the synopsis though bc sometimes the synopsis says stuff and the book is different. Like Anna's summer in Paris was 3 years in Paris.
Another Goodreads friend said that some fans were speculating that maybe Max was forced to rape Sara or hurt her. The book blurb does mention Max being forced to hurt Sara. Idk. I just don't want her to be raped/gang raped. The synopsis mentions her marrying Max to preserve her families honor :( It just make me think even more that she was probably raped. Something real bad happened. Max and Romero got revenge on some Bratva guys in BFIC for whatever happened.
I'm wondering how this happened in the first place? Shouldn't she have a bodyguard? I know the bodyguards dom't come through a lot when it counts. The women in Luca's family have a track record of escaping theur bodyguards. I'm assuming Sara doesn't self defense. It would be nice if some of there girls knew and were good at self defense. I think it's making Luca look weaker in this next gen that he can't protect the women in his family. The women Luca's family seem to be put through the ringer in this next gen Marci got kidnapped, Gianna/Isa got kidnapped, and whatever happened to poor Sara. I get it's the mafia and no one is really safe, but I still think it looks bad. Greta was supposed to be the safest girl in Vegas and she got attacked, so I don't think Remo seem quite as feared either.
